Trauma Informed Community Response to Dual Diagnosis (Mental Health and substance use difficulties): in Finglas & Cabra communities

This project has been funded by Department of Health through the Mental Health Ireland Community Mental Health fund. It is being led by Recovery Academy Ireland together in partnership with Dublin North, North East Recovery College and the Finglas Addiction Support Team (FAST).

The project is a direct response to the recommendations of the Dual Diagnosis Study completed in Finglas & Cabra in 2019 ‘Dual Diagnosis: A Community Perspective. Specifically, it is responding to the communities stated need to continue with the Open Dialogue Forum that brought stakeholders together in a collaborative way.

This will be the first of six open dialogue forums that we hope will bring together all the relevant stakeholders in a collaborative way, having looked at the communities perspective on Dual diagnosis. This is a communities response with regards to the aforementioned research report.
