Course name: The Healing Power of Poetry

Course aims: This 6 week course will allow participants to read and learn from some of the greatest poets and then write. Participants can look at life through their own unique experiences, whilst learning the healing power of poetry.

Who is the course for: The course is open to everyone and all are welcome.

Date: June 4th -July 9th

Times: 11.00 am - 1.00 pm

Venue: Core Ireland, Unit 3, Meath Enterprise Centre, Trim Road, Navan, Co. Meath.

Cost: €10 for the entire course

Description:

In this 6 week course we will read and learn from some of the greatest poets. Then we write. We can learn some of the rules but there really are no rules in poetry. It is the essence of your spirit poured onto a page. Looking at life through our own unique experiences, we learn the healing power of poetry. Materials and refreshments will be provided. Everyone is welcome onto the course and no prior experience in poetry is necessary.
