Peer support workers are people with personal experience of mental health problems who work to support others in recovery.

One of the key benefits of Peer Support is the greater perceived empathy and respect that peer supporters are seen to have for the individuals they support.Peer support will be offered on a one to one basis in DCU. Through this we will work on your own recovery and recovery goals. Through this we aim to empower you and help you take charge of your own recovery.
