Course name: Loneliness

Course aims: This 6 week course will allow participants to go on a journey to find the causes of loneliness and learn coping skills to deal with this. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the self-confidence, compassion, coping skills, and practical ways to improve mental health. We aim to have a course filled with creative ways to help cope with loneliness and to do mind and body work with grounding techniques. Enabling participants to have a better understanding of this topic in a safe and friendly group setting.

Who is the course for: The course is open to everyone and all are welcome.

Times: 11.00 am – 1.00 pm

Venue: The Recovery College Room, DCU, School of Nursing

Cost: €10 For Entire Course

Description:

This course is open to everyone and will run for 6 weeks from the 4th of November – 16th of December every Monday from 11.00 am – 1.00 pm with a week’s break in the middle. The course will take place in the Recovery College Room, DCU, School of Nursing. Martha and Ciara will be co-facilitating this course. The course will allow participants to go on a journey to find the causes of loneliness and learn coping skills to deal with this. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the self-confidence, compassion, coping skills, and practical ways to improve mental health.
