Course name: Hearing Voices

Course aims: This 4 week course aims to help participants develop an understanding of the experience of voice-hearing and helpful responses to it. In this course, participants will have the opportunity to explore what it is like to hear voices that no one else hears and why people hear voices. We will aim to help people to understand the purpose that voices play in people’s lives, developing an understanding of coping strategies and ways of working with voices.

Who is the course for: The course is open to everyone, and all are welcome.

Date: November 6th

Times: 2.00 pm – 4.00 pm

Venue: The Recovery College Room, DCU, School of Nursing

Cost: €10 For Entire Course

Description:

This course is open to everyone and will run for 4 weeks from 6th of November – 27th of November every Wednesday from 2.00 pm – 4.00 pm in the Recovery College Room, DCU, School of Nursing. Conor and Mary will be co-facilitating this course. The course will allow participants to develop an understanding of the experience of voice-hearing and helpful responses to it. Allowing the group to explore what it is like to hear voices that no one else hears and why people hear voices. Therefore giving the participants, a better understand about voice-hearing.
