Details for the DCU PPI Ignite 2019/2020 PPI in research seminar series are now available. Following the success of the 2018/2019 seminar series another series of four seminars will be run this year.

Seminar 1: The who, what, why and how of PPI

Speakers: Gary Hickey (INVOLVE) and Mark Bracken (Peer Researcher Dublin Simon Community)

Seminar 2: Writing a lay abstract

Speakers: Sean Driver (The National Adult Literacy Agency) and Lucy Whiston (DCU PPI Ignite)

Date: Dec 12th, 13:00-14:00

Format: This will include attendees working in small groups to make an existing abstract easier to read. Members of research teams (research, patient, public, clinician) can submit an abstract to work on during this session to ppi@dcu.ie by Dec 5th.
