Connect with nature course. This is a 4 week course that aims to allow participants to get outside in fresh air, take a leisurely walk and talk. Participants can reconnect with nature, make new friends, redevelop social outlets, engage in the local environment, share knowledge and build self-esteem. A feast for the senses if you will. We will explore nature to calm the mind and soothe the soul, meeting other like minded people and creating a safe and supportive walking/nature group. In the first week participants will meet up in the Recovery College Room, DCU, School of Nursing, Psychotherapy and Community Health to discuss where they would like to go on walks.
